Q: How much do you charge?
A: My rate for services can be as much as $300.00 per hour, but this rate can vary depending on the simplicity or complexity of the matter involved and I often provide discounts when the final tally is determined. I also charge block fees for the following:
Uncontested Divorce
(no motions) | $600.00 |
| Simple Will (per person) | $250.00 |
| Power of Attorney | $75.00 |
Incorporation and Organization
of
a Small Business | $550.00 |
| Purchase of a Home* | $600.00 |
| Sale of a Home* | $600.00 |
| Mortgage of a Home ** | $250.00 |
(*fee reduced by $25.00 per transaction when handling both a sale
and a purchase for the same client(s).)
(** unless done in conjunction with a purchase, when the fee is reduced to
$150.00.)
Not included in these block fees is the GST and any disbursements (expenses)
that I incur on your behalf.
